This kit is cool! There's no other way to put it. The pose is so dynamic and the ROTJ clothing style really gives it a somber feeling. This kit is big too at 1/4 scale! He is designed to be posed with the 1/4 Vader in the most memorable duel of the entire series. Did you ever listen to the music during that duel on the DSII? Creepy voices in there! Assembly was interesting on this kit. My family has a nice story to go with this kit. It was December 99 and I had just gotten it. My mom was having a Christmas party so I was hiding and working on this. I didn't heat the vinyl before I started cutting and it proved hard to cut. I was pushing really hard with the X-ACTO and guess what, it slipped! Needless to say it took a nice slice out of my hand. My girlfriend was sitting next to me and I just turned to her very quietly and said "ow". She looked at it and almost fainted as the bleeding started. I very calmly asked her "Can you go tell my Mom?". Luckily there was a nurse at the party and she helped me close it right away and avoid stitches. I was very lucky. Now whenever I am using an X-ACTO, everyone always says "Don't pull another Luke Skywalker!" They're so humorous aren't they? Anyway, once I actually assembled the kit it went pretty good. Some puttying was necessary around the joints. I painted all of the clothes Flat Black and the boots and glove Gloss Black. When painting the face, I made the eyes a bit too small but I think it works to give him that "almost turning to the Dark Side" look. I made a Rebel Alliance base to accompany him. I really like this kit. I got this kit online for under $30.
