This kit is pretty similar in concept to the Battle Of Hoth kit. This one has some pretty neat ships with it though. This is the only place you can find the Rebel Medium Transport. Really a unique piece. This kit, like the other dioramas is a scale disaster. I was unaware that soldiers are taller than X-wings! That's forgivable though, any other way and the people would have been too small to paint. In addition to the plethora of soldiers, there are also some neat unique figures and equipment included with this kit. There's the whole crew of the Falcon including Han, Leia, Chewie, C-3PO and R2-D2. On the Imperial side there is a neat little Darth Vader. Funny thing about him is when I built this kit I painted Vader, had him ready to go on the kit and then he got knocked off the table. I could not find him for the life of me. Well, a couple years later I'm working and drop a tool. I go down to pick it up and there sitting right next to it is good 'ol Vader! Can you believe it? He survived numerous vacuums, foot swipes etc. and still came through it all! There is also some cool heavy equipment included in this kit like fuel tanks, cranes and computers. I also added some stuff like the big heavy crane near the Imperials and some more tanks of various sizes. The big huge crane is actually the wall-mount piece from the Death Star kit that I didn't use. I also added some tubing and such here and there for fuel lines or wires. Construction was almost zilch. Just some of the ships needed a couple of pieces popped together. The whole entire base and Medium Transport was sprayed white and then dry brushed and airbrushed to add a little flavor. All of the other ships are based in the standard Camo Gray for Star Wars ships. The instrument panels are pretty nice, a lot of little detail to fill up the space. If you want you can go crazy and paint everything in there, but I just dry brushed it to bring out the detail. That's pretty much it for this kit. It's just a lot of tedious detail painting that will probably get old after a while. I got this kit from KB for around $5.
