This nice kit was one of my first figure kits. I remember it came in the mail when I was jamming with the band I used to play in. I showed it to the guys and they all thought I was a pretty big dork. But anyway, this kit is actually very cool. The pose is pretty neat, strange, but neat. It was pretty much all vinyl except for the hard styrene helmet. This is good because it probably would have gotten warped if it was vinyl. Construction wasn't too difficult, but since this was one of my first vinyl kits, I was still trying to use plastic cement to glue it. I pretty much taught myself modeling stuff so it used to take me a while to catch on. I didn't start looking online for modeling tips until recently. So I had some trouble but eventually got past it with super glue. I painted it pretty much all flat black. I painted the armor gloss black and painted the details according to reference pictures. I got this kit off eBay for like $12 I think.
