What a cool lookin' guy, huh? This is the suave Prince Xizor (pronounced Sheezor) from the Shadows Of The Empire series. This guy tried to hit on Leia while Han was frozen in Carbonite. Sounds like a Soap Opera! lol This was released under AMT/ERTL Shadows Of The Empire line along with the Emperor and Xizor's personal ship, the Virago. The kit is made out of a bunch of semi-rigid vinyl and a sheet of very soft vinyl for the inside of his "skirt". I built this kit before I knew too much about building vinyl models and I didn't heat any of the vinyl to make it fit better. Needless to say I had some trouble with fit. Most of the rest of the kit went together ok. There were a few major body pieces and a bunch of small pieces like the fingers and ponytails. For painting I started by painting subassemblies and then gluing it all together. Most of the colors are straight from the bottle, Silver, Flat Black, Interior Green, Sand with dry brushed Brown, Crocus Yellow and some detail colors. I dry brushed his skin with a lighter shade of green to bring out all of the great detail sculpted into the kit. It was a pretty tough kit to start out on, but it can build up into a really nice looking figure. I'll eventually redo it better one day. I got this kit for about $10 on eBay.
